The Navy provides this skill set for us in Corpsmen. (2) The Marines don't have occupational designators that are alphanumeric. Ours are four digits. (3) The Marines don't have the AH-64 Apache Gunship, this is strictly an Army platform in the U.S. (4) The Apache Longbow does not have troop transport capability, it is an attack/escort gunship. These are just the four most prevalent (and irritating) examples of poor research that detract from the story, in my humble opinion.

I'll abstain from the next book, based on the reviews, I think I'll save my credits for another more promising work. I would have had him take the sacking on the chin and moved on disappointed but accepting.
