- The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age (Game Boy Advance) The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age is a turn-based tactics game for the Game Boy Advance. It was released in 2004 by Electronic Arts and is the handheld version of a role-playing video game of the same name released for GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
You played the action games on your home console. Some of you may have even dabbled in the Pen and Paper RPG's of the past. But now it is finally here. Lord of the Rings: The Third Age delivers a massive RPG based in Tolkien's world of Middle Earth. The Third Age delves deeper into the story of the One Ring. You'll run into some old friends, such as Gandalf and Aragorn along the way, but mostly will play as a lesser-known group of heroes.
The Third Age Online Game
The Third Age community uses the game Neverwinter Nights to provide a foundation for visual roleplay in the Wheel of Time Universe. All community events as well as a large majority of roleplay takes place on our dedicated Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition multiplayer server.
Rather than playing through a story you already know, this game tells you the story behind the story. This guide will give you all the skills and directions you need to do it all.
