Then you will not be disappointed. The game features over 100 playable ninja that we all know and love mixed with fluid, fast paced and smooth brawling gameplay. This time around you'll get to choose between 3 types before fighting. 'Ultimate jutsu', 'Awakening' and 'Drive' and unlike Storm 3 which gave you all of these at the same time which makes the fighting more unique in a sense, you have to make the fun and right decision. (Won't go into detail on how each one of these types works tho) Combos display characters traits and style in a very accurate fashion which is pretty cool and Ultimate Jutsus and Team Ultimate Jutsus are truly awesome to behold, for example: Itachi x Shisui, Obito x Madara, Ino Shika Cho etc.

This game features no cannon story mode to explain the events of the anime and manga but it has a single player World Tournament mode to find out who's the greatest ninja of them all which can upset some players who wishes to follow the main story of the show. If you have some favorite character from the franchise and wish to challenge someone over the internet then you can overlook this 'incident' (personally I like the World Tournament mode) but don't forget that the game also gives you the chance to play the origin story of the Akatsuki, the two Uchiha and team Minato's story which are filled with exclusive and well made animated cutscenes. Exciting stuff indeed, The game might have some issues with low end computers and online gameplay might lag for some people but I myself haven't had any trouble related to crashes or lag so in my honest opinion the game is very enjoyable and fun online and offline, amusing to play with friends. Also; Customization has been added to give your favorite characters some well deserved accessories, like adding an Anbu black ops mask to Iruka. (Fun to play around with!) Remember now, this is just my opinion on the matter so no hard feelings, cheers! To sum it up: Smooth and enjoyable gameplay that on higher levels is like chess (you have to be one step ahead of your opponent), lots of characters to choose from, awesome Ultimate Jutsu's and combos, enjoyable with friends online and offline if there isn't popping up a transmission message every second that is, a game for the Naruto lover. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, provides a mediocre multiplayer experience that provides little improvement upon its Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, provides a mediocre multiplayer experience that provides little improvement upon its predecessor and actually worsens the gameplay by creating an absolutely unbalanced fighting system.

The added visual effects, sharpening of the models, and the increase of playable characters and new awakenings are all of the additions that made Revolution a decent sequel. The addition of the three type system mixed with the awful story mode is what made the game absolutely inferior to its predecessor. The three type system was unbalanced making the Drive Type far superior to the other types, mixed with the mediocre online combat system created what may be the worse combat system of any of the Ninja Storm series games. The customization of ninjas and having your own AI ninja to go out and fight for you was sadly not enough to save the online battles in this game. Revolution isn't a bad game but its not without its serious problems, and this is from someone who put over 60 hours into the game.

Overall the game is a somewhat disappointing sequel that does add a couple of things that saved the game from being an absolute disappointment. Cons Broken fighting system Story mode is boring, and dialogue is mediocre Not enough changes to existing characters movesets.

A returning feature which was omitted since the original Ultimate Ninja Storm is the ability to Wall Run. Players will be able to dynamically take to battle to the sides of the arenas, and battle on the walls of each stage. A major change to the feature is the ability to have one character be on the wall, while the other stays on the field. Originally the second player was automatically moved to the wall, to keep the battle flowing and the system in check.

The option to select one of three different fighting types has been removed, which was introduced in, restoring the previous system of Ultimate Jutsu and Awakenings seen in the rest of the series. Another new feature is the ability to swap characters during battle, similar to games like.

Awakenings and ultimate jutsus from previous games also return, and can now be shared between the switchable characters, meaning players can build up their meter with one character, switch to the other and use said abilities with the other character. However, the characters will now all share the same life bar. Also new to the franchise is the ability to break weapons and armor, both in free battle and boss battles. Madara tries to defeat the Hokages but when he tries to kill Naruto and Sasuke, the two ninjas awake new powers inherited from the Sage of the Six Paths. The duo then defeats Madara who is instead backstabbed by his partner Zetsu to turn him to Sage's mother, Kaguya. With the help of Kakashi and, Naruto and Sasuke manage to seal Kaguya though Obito dies in the battle trying to protect Kakashi. In the aftermath, Naruto and Sasuke engage in a final battle to decide the villages' status quo. Amazed by Naruto's decision, Sasuke gives up and leaves Konohagakure. The game ends with a time skip where Naruto has become the new Hokage and Sasuke returns to the village.Development Hiroshi Matsuyama stated that he wanted the game's life to be as long as possible. In order to achieve this, he and his team made significant changes to the game's combat mechanics, which will include a new system of strategy developed exclusively for the game, as well as changes to the game's internal combat and damage system.

The team has also taken on board the feedback given from the Naruto gaming community and has focused on the addition of more story based elements, rather than the traditional jump from fight to fight. The game is set to feature the largest number of fighters in the series history. The roster will include 106 fighters from the entire Naruto universe, including characters from and, also making Storm 4 the second game in the series after to feature characters from a Naruto movie, as well as the first such game to be released internationally, since the guest character is only featured in the Japanese release of Ultimate Ninja 2. The game was playable to the public for the first time at 2015. In August 2015, it was announced that the game would be delayed until February 2016.
